Eventide Secretary

All of my loved ones are diurnal but my new job has forced me to become nocturnal and I found out it is rough being a bat. As you all are reuniting with your pillows I am heading into the obscurity of the night towards the local hospital. I am a secretary in the ER. I process paperwork and hand out   blue "I think I feel sick Bags". Drunks adore and loathe me all at the same time. Weekend nights are always interesting. And I've seen far too much already! Basically my blogging has slowed due to my new line of employment as a glorified secretary minus the awesome vintage typewriter.

Love Is A Many Splendored Thing ( To: Jen and Kenneth)

Although it has been quite a spot of time since I found out about my sister Jen's  upcoming wedding, I am just now finding time  to celebrate and congratulate properly on this blog. In exactly 100 days Kenneth and Jennifer will be joined as one in God's eyes. There will be so many precious moments and memories between now and that awesome day, pull them close to your heart and never forget. Grow strong in the Lord together, and start to establish your relationship as one , cling to the Lord and then each other. I love you Jen , because you are my husband's sister , but also because you have made such an effort to make yourself my sister too. I also love you Kenneth, for after a long waiting period you have come to be my sister Jen's happiness. Shout it from the rooftops 100 DAYS! 100 DAYS! .......... 100 days that's not too long compared to all the time you will share together after that.

As a child we all enjoy collecting the cotton headed dandelion remnants so that we may whisk away every last seed on the stem with the wave of our arm or a puff of our breath. And like one of those seeds I have landed yet again in another niche where God may use me. And now that I am working in the ER at my local hospital it clearer than ever that so many people are in need of the Lord. I ask those of you who read this blog to please pray for me. Pray that I can spread seeds of God's love to those I encounter at work. Also pray that you can spread seeds of your own throughout your own daily routine.

Ferris Wheel Kinda Life

In our lives we have so many ups and downs . Just like the ever enchanting Ferris wheel we are sure to find at the state fair. The Ferris wheel as we all know must get close to the ground before it can reach its lookout peak high above the crowd. My life sometimes rotates like that Ferris wheel . I have my lows and times of despair, but those lows always bring me back to the top and closer to God.

The Lord never ceases to take care of His children!! Even when we are scared and unsure of what to do in our circumstances , He still provides!! The above picture reminded me of the truth that the Lord will clutch us in His loving hands  and nothing can sweep us from them. I want to give the Lord all the praise and all the glory today for providing what we needed to pay our taxes off. Our full tax payment is in the mail and I am so thankful. What are you thankful for today?
