Cukoo for Cocoa Puffs

Chocolate mmmmmmmm. I just love the feeling of chocolate on my tongue how it slowly melts and expires on the palate. And after it has melted away it still lingers there for just a moment. Yes chocolate absolutely yummy. Lately they "those super thin people that don't eat" have invented a new way of eating chocolate an almost calorie free way. It is called the LeWhif. Let me explain, the LeWhif is a chocolate inhaler that basically introduces aerosolized particles of chocolate from a plastic tube into your mouth, all you have to do is simply suck in. Three LeWhif inhalers cost you $8.00 and you get ten puffs of chocolate for each inhaler. This new invention was invented by a Harvard University professor who normally designs medical inhalers. I suppose if I were a super thin model that needed her chocolate fix this would be good for me, but I need something substantial quite frankly I am not Cukoo for Cocoa Puffs or Puffs of Cocoa. Chocolate flavored air! Come on they already got us with bottled water now air too!Only in America. Tell me your thoughts on Chocolate air. I will be waiting patiently and in the meantime eating my Ghirardelli milk chocolate bar NET WEIGHT 3oz. of MMMMMMMMMM.

God's Blessings

Sorry I have not posted anything in a while. As most of you know Jeff and I have moved to New Mexico. We are in northern New Mexico and it is cooooold!!! Or for me it is anyways. Jeff is loving the small town atmosphere and the snow capped mountains. God as always has provided for us. Jeff has pretty much been offered a job for the small town local Sheriffs Department here. He basically walked in and asked some questions about the local conceal carry laws and without even thinking he was going in for job he came out with a prospective job offer. The deputy that talked to Jeff basically said that he needed to check out Jeffs story and if he told the truth about why he was fired then he will hire him. God has provided and He still is providing. If anyone from Yuma is reading just know that I miss you guys.I will keep you updated on the job. Please pray for us because Jeff does have two job offers and we would appreciate prayers for His guidance in the matter. I love you all and miss warm weather brrrrrrrrrr. Ummmm were did I put my winter clothes! Plus I want to thank all of you for your prayers and support during this whirlwind of uncertainty.

Joyful In all Things

The past few days have been quite taxing on my husband and I. After a year of work I decided to quit my job to dedicate more time to God , My church and My husband. On my last day of work I came home to find out that my husband had been terminated from his job. Talk about going from a emotional high to a very low point! At first I was going to let panic set in and allow worry to control me. After about two hours and a ton of silent prayers I realized that God wanted these circumstances to occur at the exact same time for a reason. The Lord lead my Pastor last night to say something like this, "Sometimes we lose all hope in life because of the circumstances we go through. And even though we do not understand what we are going through God has a plan for it.We just need to remember that we serve a risen Savior and a triumphant Savior. And by serving Him we can have triumph in our lives and have joy in any circumstance." The passage was in John chapter 11 about how Christ turned tragedy into triumph regarding Mary and Martha's circumstance. Mary and Martha doubted Christ at some point during the death of their brother, just as I did when realizing my husband and I were both jobless. I love my Savior and so does my husband. We are at peace with God's plan for our lives we want to see His plan through so that He will use our circumstances to reach others. As a sweet friend of mine said, "I am excited to see how the Lord will use this."

Makeover!!. . . . . . .Transformation

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)

We all love to shop . We love it when we find that dress that fits us so very perfectly, those shoes that will work with all our outfits , a new necklace , a scarf and in yuma we just have to have those adorable sunglasses! What excites us even more than shopping is wearing that new item. We like showing it off so all can see and complement on it. But are we forgetting to put something on before leaving the house . . . . . . earrings , no I got those. . . . sunglasses no those are on my head. . . . . purse got that too . . . . hmmm I guess I am all set and ready to go. But as I walk out that door I wonder. . . . . did I remember to put on God ? Ought we not want to show off our Savior just as much as we want to show off our new dress ? We can wear our gentle spirit that is precious in our Lord's sight. But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. (1 Peter 3:4). We can also be obedient to our husband. Believe me others will see our obedience to our husbands and to our Savior and they will see our love for His word . To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.(Titus 2:5) How about this weekend we try bringing honor to God as we live out His will and his Word. The putting on of a new outfit can cost us $30.00 or more but the putting on of God only costs us time. Time that is not ours to begin with. God has given us our time so that we may study His word and be able to put Him on , and give him the glory daily. Spend your time wisely. The Bible has many things we can put on for His glory! Way more than our closet does . Plus I can assure you those around us will benefit more from the time we spend in the Bible far greater than the time we spend in the dressing room. This thought gives me Joy!
