I do not buy expensive shoes and if I did I would surely step in something foul and ruin them on their first run. No one I know has a greater fervor for high heels than my older sister Becca, she just loves high heels, red, purple, silver, orange, turquoise, open toe, peep toe, mary janes, and her preferred heel of choice stilettos. My chic sister is determined to don her cherished jewels throughout her first pregnancy..... and I say you go girl!!! Shoes are a vital part of expressing your style and pulling together an outfit but when do the designers go to far? Such as the Balenciaga Lego High Heel shoe (pictured above). This toy inspired heel is priced at 4,075.00 and looks like a mutation of a rollerblade, high heel, and a pile of legos. I suspect that you wouldn't lose the shoe since it is brightly colored. And if the heel snapped off I could simply pull some legos out of the toy box...... a little glue here a trifle amount there and presto my heel has only depreciated by 1000.00 dollars and I have saved my investment. I enjoy high heels as much as any other girl but I draw the line at rhinestones and nix the legos.
