Tiny tastees!

Feeding ourselves spiritually and staying in God's word is very important. If we don't feed ourselves physically we will starve and become weak in doing so , and the same goes for serving up a portion of God's scripture every day. Let us not become weak in the Lord! I know that I have neglected my daily portion a time or two ........ "Oh I am too busy "...... " Lots to do"..... "No Time No Time". Do we have time to watch that TV show? Do we have time to paint our fingernails? Do we have time to go on Facebook? Do we have time for a meal? You bet we do!!! So why not carve out some time to feed yourself spiritually find a partner and hold each other accountable , I promise you it will only make your day easier. This post was inspired by these food miniatures found on etsy.com seller Amanspeak Miniatures they are so real looking they got me hungry and got me thinking.

Oh my Paintball!

Found an odd picture on my/ husbands computer the other day. When I saw it I thought WOW whats he all geared up for? Hunting maybe? Nope! PAINTBALL!!  My husband has a passion for paintball, yet I am scared to death of the paintball to skin impact. Jeff my dear husband is yet to get me out on the field. I know I will have to bite the bullet sooner or later.

Farewell Pontiac

The Pontiac line is being retired after 84 years . It is a sad sad day. Anyone who knows my love for the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am will know my deep sadness. My love stems from my Dad, who owned a  1979 Pontiac Trans Am . At the time he was a single man ,enjoying an amazing vehicle......... and then he got married, had his first child and needed to choose between my moms practical car and his car, and of course selling the Trans Am brought more money. That old Trans Am is long gone now, an old memory and an inspiration for a new dream.

I am aware that I will never own such clothing but a girl can dream, plus I can also use the ideas to find similar items in thrift stores and such. So here is my first one.

My love rubs off on you.

I like this picture even though the sun is in our eyes.
My husband makes me look much lovelier than I am.
It is his handsomeness it just rubs off!

And one day this will be us.............. of course my husband will be bald.
And I will have shrunk from 5 feet to 4 feet tall. I giggle to think.

Favorite Scene in this movie is  the mimicking parrots.
" I say taco, they say taco". "TACO TACO TACO"
I quote the above right before eating tacos and at least 20 times while preparing them!

Taco Cuff Links...why didn't I think of that !!!!

The etymology of the word Taco is derived from a mixture of Mexican and Spanish languages and means " light lunch". Of course there are a variety of ways you can eat taco's, there are Fish Taco's ( not my favorite), Carne Asada Taco's, Taco's Dorados ( better known as Flautas, Rolled Taco's, or for us pale faced people Taquitos) and many more. And trust me on this one guys, the whole debate on what to call a Rolled Taco is a pretty hot issue along the border........ whatever you do , just don't say Taquito!! Regardless of their origin name or shell shape I deem them a number 9 on the tasty scale and will be preparing some along with homemade salsa, for my ever so handsome husband for dinner tonight.
